Hated every time MS did it, I don't mind funding games likes Sony or Ninty. I never liked paying for exclusives, and don't support the practise. Did that for Cuphead as I rather steams achievements over Xbox's. I love getting achievements and such and I would buy everything on Steam over other launchers for that exact reason.
It's a big difference and you can ignore if you like but it's 1000% a issue. It has Steam Achievements, Cards, a proper community that's active, cloud saves and such. Okay, well anyone can just completely ignore what the person said to make what they're trying to prove seem true.

You are a fanboy of a brand making an argument for a series of letters because it is the series of letters you like most. The fact you gave no actual reason, and just gave negative conjecture shows exactly my point. Teflon02 1352d well anyone can just say words that make something seem true. I wonder, if the game is completed and for sale, is it then considered a purchase? Would they then be qualified for a refund. So they should either receive the game as they chose or get their money back due to being misled (Epic Store wasn't even out when it was in Kickstarter).
Backers didn't merely choose to back the game, they backed the game on a specific platform (game on Steam is the product). Now I understand there is a difference between buying something and pledging on Kickstarter (it's not a purchase), but I believe on the Kickstarter site it states they are obligated to try to make the product.
If people ordered products to be picked up at store A (near their home, extremely convenient), which was available at the time of purchase, then when ready for pick up they were told they had to drive to store B to pick it up (other side of the state, very inconvenient), I wonder how many people would make the hours long drive (because hey, it's just a different store) or ask for a refund (because they feel mislead or lied to). Here’s hoping this isn’t the end of Ryo and Yu Suzuki’s epic journey.R2oB 1352d at the moment Epic Store doesn't support cloud saves and game achievements, so that's two things Steam adds to their games that Epic Store doesn't. Shenmue III isn’t always as player-friendly as it could be, but its lively, uniquely-handcrafted world is truly absorbing. Is Shenmue III dated? Absolutely, but the game proves that, like most genres, open-world adventures still have a thing or two to learn from the past. If this year's Epic Games Store giveaway starts with Shenmue III, it will definitely start right, as the game is definitely enjoyable, despite it feeling a little dated, as highlighted by Nate in his review. As an official announcement has yet to come in, however, we have to take what has been revealed today with a grain of salt.

Last year, the Epic Games Store did offer free games during December, so it is not surprising to learn that the same will happen this year as well. (The best of the selection in my opinion): Decemto Decemat 17h at 4:59 p.m.: Shenmue III.As I teased you this morning (cf. comment to last year's deal ), we will be entitled, once again, to a new round of free games (at least 14, with one free game per day ) for the holiday season courtesy of the Epic Games Store.
